SENATOR BRENT
RICHARDS
C
V: 1949 to 1952
The morning after Brent Richards was elected Utah State Senator,
he called CV because "that was the closest I could come
to calling home."
During his term of office, he sponsored important legislation,
including an innovative bill to help the deaf community. Senator
Richards holds a BS Degree in Philosophy from the University
of Utah. He is married and has six children and 16 grandchildren.

Through the course of our history, more than 80,000 children have
had a chance to rebuild their lives at CV.
CV is very proud of our strong connection to our Alumni. We keep
in contact with a great many of them, and share their stories and
pictures in our Alumni Gallery, which is in Wetmore Hall on our
Dobbs Ferry campus. Alumni, their families and current and former
CV staff gather annually at our Alumni Picnic. Several alumni are
members of their own committee, Alumni Committed to Teen Success
(ACTS), a volunteer organization which provides scholarships and
mentoring to current CV residents.
(Click here) for a sampling of some
CV alumni and their successes. We hope you will be as proud of them
as we are.
