Pathways to Adulthood is a Westchester County program designed to ensure that every teenager in foster care is prepared to meet the challenges of adulthood. National statistics tell us that too often these young people cannot meet the expectations of self-sufficiency, not because they are not able, but because the time and energy needed to learn and practice skills necessary to work, maintain good health, and build satisfying relationships, has not happened. PAD provides services to all the agencies in Westchester County serving foster children to help these kids develop the skills needed for employment and everyday life, the personal skills for relationships of every kind, and the courage to live their dreams - what we all want for our children and ourselves.
