Stone Phillips

Stone Phillips became an honorary member of the Board of Directors in 2001.  He was the co-anchor of the award-winning newsmagazine Dateline NBC for 15 years.  Mr. Phillips has won numerous awards for his interviewing skills and outstanding coverage of continuing news stories, including the Society of Professional Journalists’ Sigma Delta Chi Award for Public Service, the Investigative Reporter’s and Editor’s Gold Medal, the Robert F. Kennedy Journalism Award, and three National Headliner Awards.  Mr. Phillips graduated with honors from Yale University with a Bachelor’s Degree in philosophy.
