The Annual Appeal provides crucial funds to help CV provide programs that would not otherwise be possible with government funding alone. These funds often make the difference between a good program and a program that is truly vibrant and that goes the extra mile to reach children and families.  Annual fund gifts are used each year to finance activities and staffing. This year’s Annual Fund provides:

• Salary increases for child care staff, which help CV to compete for qualified  staff;
• Enhanced recreation activities that included kayaking trips, camping, snowboarding, and mountain biking;
• A mentoring program that provided mentors for 45 teenagers who have no family;
• Academic support during after-school hours to more than 200 students;
• Professional development programs for more than 50 staff members;
• Work experiences for more than 50 young men.
