An ongoing challenge to providing quality care to children is that government funding provides for little more than the basics of support. CV must offer far more if youth are to radically change the trajectory of their lives.  CV is and always will be a charity that provides services to those in need and depends to a great extent on the commitment and generosity of individuals. With the help of its many supporters, CV has been highly successful in developing and sustaining innovative programs, some of which have become models for others in the field.
